Published since 1983. IRIS concentrates on cinema and audiovisual
studies,  with an emphasis on high  level  theoretical  research  of a
historical, economic, setniological or sociological  nature.
IRIS is a bilingual (English-French), with each article published in
one of the two languages and  abstracted in the other.

Crete en 1983, IRIS se consacre prioritairement a la publication de
travaux hUtoriqucs, economiques, sociologiques, et de facon gene-
rate thioriques ou analytiques de haul niveau. La revue est bilingue
(francais-anglais),  cheque  article  itant  public dans  une des  deux
langucs et reeume dans 1'autre.
