CRITICAL  ARTS  is a unique  South  African journal  which  takes a radical
look at Third  World media. It offers a perspective on relations between media
and  society  at  large.  Both  formal  and  informal  channels  are  its  interest.
CRITICAL  ARTS  challenges  the  existing  social  structure.  It  is  a  cue  for
creating alternative dimensions to the stereotyped  view of the media dictated
by  ideology.
