Ordinary Observations: A stay-At-Home Photo Book

Over the years, I have honed my photography skills through nature and wildlife adventure travel. Because of the need to stay in place for safety during the pandemic, such travel was no longer possible. Wanting to maintain my photography hobby, I pivoted inward to take my camera and explore the world around me. My location of rural New Hampshire provided ample subjects for me to capture. Using the alphabet, numbers, and colors provided a great way to organize subjects for this creative project. The finished photo book served as a gift to family members across the miles.

A lo largo de los años, he pulido mis destrezas fotográficas mediante viajes de aventura por la naturaleza y con la fauna silvestre. Debido a la necesidad de quedarse en un solo lugar por razones de seguridad durante la pandemia, tales viajes ya no eran posibles. Au fil des ans, j'ai perfectionné mes talents de photographe en participant à des voyages d'aventure dans la nature et la vie sauvage. En raison de la nécessité de rester chez soi pour des raisons de sécurité pendant la pandémie, ces voyages n'étaient plus possibles. Voulant maintenir mon passe-temps de photographie, je me suis tournée vers l'intérieur pour prendre mon appareil photo et explorer le monde qui m'entourait. Le New Hampshire rural où je me trouvais m'a fourni de nombreux sujets à photographier. L'utilisation de l'alphabet, des chiffres et des couleurs m'a permis d'organiser les sujets de ce projet créatif. Le livre photo terminé a servi de cadeau aux membres de la famille à l'autre bout du monde.

多年来，我通过到大自然中去探险，并与野生动物亲密接触，磨练了摄影技术。新冠疫情期间，出于安全的考虑，我没有出门。但对摄影的热爱让我拿起相机开始探索周围的世界。新罕布什尔州的乡村为我的摄影提供了充足的素材。字母、数字和颜色的有机组合是我创作的一种尝试，最后完成的相册是我送给了千里之外的家人的礼物。
