A letter from Sarah Noddins to her son Thomas Noddins deployed as a Union soldier. Sarah is happy that William, her son-in-law, is back with Thomas in the war, as Thomas told her in his last letter. She also mentions the family farm and their crops, as well as the importance of Thomas keeping his faith during the war.
