Mrs Noddins Dear Friend It is a long time since I have heard from you the last time I wrote I did not receive an answer but I often think of you & make up my mind to write but go no farther. I have had a very busy summer we have the school house close by our house & I had to board the teacher & it made me extra work & the children are not very much help yet the oldest is now 10 years old we have no school in winter so I have to teach the children at home. I suppose your children are all growing up ever Willie must be quite a large boy our little boy is 4 years old to look back it hardly seems possible it is nearly 7 years since we left Michigan How are all our old friends there do you ever see any of the Honoemans [?] how are they all getting on. How does the white church over in that neighborhood prosper. I dare say some of the old neighbors in your part have passed away since you last wrote me. I am so glad we are having such a revival here some who at first would not attend have since been brought in and are happy Jamestown has so many saloons & so much drinking going on here it has been a great discouragement to those who were working but now since then meetings of 10 weeks have been going on the whole town seems to be stirred up & they will continue I expect as long as Bro Taylor is here write soon Remember me to all my friends. Yours H [?] katharine Kemp
