Bostock Letter : June 21, 1864

William notes that his regiment has been busy shelling a Confederate artillery battery atop a mountain. He says that some of the shells were bad and caused injuries among Union soldiers. William also complains they are out of tobacco and that they will probably not receive pay until the end of the campaign.
