Cathcart Letter : August 29, 1862

James writes to his father about several unclear issues. He expresses a desire to obtain a horse because he is about to "take command" of something. James then asks his father to pass on a message to a tailor that he wants a large pocket sewn into the inside of his coat along with other pockets "suitable for my business."
