Dear Father & Mother
I wrote to you that I had a
a very bad headache I have
had a pretty hot fever also
have been bed fast most of
the time for three days. Dr
Butterworth has give me a physic
and then Quinine. this evening
I have no fever scarcely at all
I think that I will be allright
pretty soon. we are ordered to move
to night at 12.am the 20th my
men are packing up as fast as
possible my goods. I think I will 
go with the regiment I don't think
it will hurt me. we go to Louisville
