Dearest when I wrote you before I expected some to visit you as I was going to Saint Louis on business _ after every thing was arranged for me to go _ An Officer from Col. Harris Chief Commissary from Saint Louis arrived _ who brot. the necessary papers and evidence which I was going for However I some expect to visit Au- rora dear One some time this summer. I have Just received letter from my mother _ she and my oldest Sister are going to visit Aurora this summer and wish me to meet them there _ in which event my darling Emma. I will visit Chickaming – perhaps acc= ompanied by “Delia” _ Dear Girl you would love her. and I am sure she could not help loving you At all events she could not help it, were she any like her worthy Brother. Oh! Emma words cannot express my deep heart felt love for you. You are so true so good and noble.
