and resumed command on Friday

will do. but it will be something..
	But the news of all news is
that Major [Nickels?] our division pay
master arrived here yesterday and we
signed our payroll yesterday afternoon
  We shall probably [illegible in original] “Green
Backs” tomorrow. They will be
welcome. Yet, I dont know as I
want any.. We never use it unless
      u
to bˆy Sutlers goods. or trade horses.
     The latter I never do and the former
dont pay..
