Hospt Madison, Ind Oct 14th 63 Dear Sister I take this oppert unity to inform you that I am back in prison or worse in the Hospt my health is not as good as it was when I left home the doctor has promised me a examination then I Shall either go to the regt or come home for I am bound to com get out of the Hospt if I die in the attempt I could get nothing done for me in Detroit Fishbeck is in town on provost guard he feels first rate we will muster for pay in about two weeks then I expect to get about 60 Dollars if they Settle up my Clothing bill the boys are talking prety Strong of taking [Trench?
