I shall rite her a letter
to day   I have got over
the mumps now if I dont

cold it is very pleasent
here now the peach trees
are all out in blow now
you see thare will bee
lots of peaches down here
this summer well cate
you rote that they wanted
you to come to york state
this summer you wait
until after harvest
and I think that the
war will be over and
then i will come and 
go with you I will rite
to mother to day you
tell matt and Er to rite
to me I have rote to
matt twise since i have
been here you tell matt
to tell mr Mcomber that
John had a watch here
and his clothes and a 

pockit book his money
was taken to the
hospital out of his
pocket book what he
head and if he wants 
them sent home or
sold and the money 
sent money sent or no
you may send me a
box of things if you
are mind to you meed
not send any thing that
will spoil if it is a
month a comming you
cant send but 20 pounds
and Richard Fisk wants
his folks to send him
some maple sugar
and you can send some
dried fruit of berries
and a few peaches
and some thread send

a couple of hanks of
black and a couple of brown
I wish I could bee
thair a bout a couple
of weeks now to eat
warm sugar and make
