My dear wife and children
I again write to inform
you that I am well at present and in good
Spirits and hope that
Mc Clellan will be elected
to day we vote we are here
yet but I think we will
move before long I sent
you twenty Dollars in a 
letter yesterday and I 
send you twenty more
to day I am very busy
now and you must
excuse my short letter
you send after to the first
office for I shall send
home one hundred Dollars 
before long in all your
husband and friend in haste

I have not heard
from William yet
if you hear from him
you write to me where
he is give this 50 cents
to my Dear little boy
jesse and some kisses
