I am having a good time. generally although the weather. is unfavorable & it being the wrong season of the year. how[illegible]ever. if our spirits are right. we shall enjoy ourselves. without any trouble. My friends in the vicinity of [Lory?] Lake. propose to [illegible] [even?] with an Oyster [Srippen?] this week & [illegible] anticipate a good time. I wish you were here on that occasion. as also are all others. I visited with [illegible] B [illegible] Sunday last. engaged myself well (of course) There has been but. few changes since you left. and of these Mother has doubtless . informed you Our.
