of Dec 15th yesterday and hasten to
reply to it although it is Saturday
and a busy day but I have got
along with my Work fine [today?]
and Now as I am wating for [Dinner?]
I will commense a letter so I can
get it away in this P.M. Mail
  I am sorry you have to work for
such low wages but it is better
than nothing. I would be glad to
help you if it wer in my power
and will do so if I can get my
Descriptive List in time to get my
Pay Next Pay Day I have written for
it twice and I hope it will come 
  before Next Muster. 

       2 Oclock P.M.
		Well I was called on for a
Detail to raise our Pole so I will
not have time to write as much 
as I intended to for I must get
this out in the Mail this P.M.
you said your wer going to
Tuscola to spend New Years I
hope you will have a good time
    I did intend to come Home
Christmas & New Years but we
are going to have a great dance
here and I must stay to keep
my Boys straight
	But I will come out
soon after Holidays I think 
and may be before.
	I suppose Sarah thinks I am
slighting her by not Writing
    tell her I will write soon
I hope she will not forget to write
often to me.

My health is better than it 
was when I was at Home. but 
I am troubled with the tooth ache
a great deal of the time I think I
shall come Home and have them
fixed. I can get it done so much
cheeper than I can here.
tell Jane when she has the tooth Ache
                             misery loves
that she has company  ^    company
	but if she will use Chloriform
as I do it will save her much suffering
take lint and wet it in the 
Chloriform and put it on the toothe
it will stop the worst tooth Ache
I ever saw any one have I have
used it for one year.
	I am having a fine time here
