          Dear sisters
I do not know as it is necessary
to adress you both seperately
and I do not know as I can
write any so you can read
it I have writen so little
lately hav and have been
so week that my hands tremb
			       (les
so that I can hardly hold
the pen at all my weekness
was occasioned by aloss of
apatite for about two weeks
I did not eat any thing at
all hardly or not so much
in the hole time as would 
make one good meal for a well
      Aug 31st
man       but I am getting better
now and am about as strong
as ever and now I can eat all

that I get at meal
times and twice between
meals I am on low diet

hospital is under the charge
of ladies ayoung lady by the
name of [crossed out] [miss ha] Miss Hall
has charge of our section She
comes around every day to see
what we want to eat. She
can give us an order on the sanatary
for any thing we want from
there
And now as you both express
awish to know where I was
wonded I will tell you where
the ball struck the right
corner of my chin and glanced
out at the back part of my
lower jaw and I thought for 
two weeks that it had
not hurt the bone but
I was forced to believe

different after I came to
     this hospital by having
   four pices taken out
by the doctor to prove
which I will in close two
or three little ones the larg
est one I must send home
so that our folks as well as
your self will have apart
