Fathers health is better than last. he works. all the time they are busy now, putting in their wheat We have not thrashed yet. nor sold our wool. it is 58 cts. now. it has been as high as 70. Fruit is quite plenty. Apples in abundance on the Ridge. We will have a few to sell. No peaches to sell. but enough for our own use. Aunt Betsy is well. she was here yestirday. She lives alone. Jane. and her husband were here a week ago. Jane health is good enjoying herself well. She likes her new home. very much indeed. Minerva has not been home. in a long time. Mary is well, I have had my Photograph taken. I will send you one. also one of Mother & Charlie. Amy is going to have hers taken. she will send one of hers. also Ben. We would like one of your mother father, Charlie & Ebbie. please send them. Aunt Betsey is going to have hers taken. She will send one of hers. Dont' for'get to have your folks send theirs. I am quilting. wish you were here to help me a little. It is considerable of work. I have two quilted. & two more to quilt. I have [no idea?] when I shall want them. Mr Lovell says! he thinks he will be home, on a visit in about six months. he has been gone. little over two. Have you learned to spin I cant' spin but can [knit?]. I am going to knit two [illegible] to sell. I am [saving?]. Have you had any new dreses this fall. I have none yet. Am going to get one soon. [Alapaca?], and braid the skirt: they are fashionable here. Ellen Rockwood is here visiting she has got a glass eye. it is very natural. She dont go home.
