     Dear sister I take this
opportunity to write you
afew lines and to let
		I am

well and hope that you
are the Same I arrived all
safe the next day after I left
you and the next day
after I was detailed with
Several others [crossed out word] to help
take care of about four hundred
horses [crossed out] [of] for one week
but before that time the
		ware
horses [crossed out word] devided and
we [crossed out word] had forty one
horses of the midling
bays Since then it has
been in  creased to Sixty
nine and some companys
        their

occurance to Se ahorse throw
his rider and some times
