Dear Wife and Children I Wrote you
this Morning and While I was Writing
thay Called for the Mail and I had
to Seal up my Letter before I was
Don and after Lerning that their was
another Mail Going out this afternoon
I thought I woould Write an Explanat
-ion for Cutting my Letter So Short
this morning I want you to Write
me as Soon as you Get this and
Direct to Washington Citty D.C
and now I want you and hatty
to be of Good Chear as you can
and Doo as Well as you Can untill
I come home O how Glad I Shall
be if we Can again make one
Glad family Sircole but it will
not be Entirely full Eaven if we
are purmitted all of us now alive
to meet again as there is One
Place vacant which will not be full


and I Shall miss the One that youst
to fill it verry mutch but like all
of the Rest of ower Dear friends we
have to part with them all one by
one and now I will Enclose a Small
Paper Printed hear you may find
Something in it at eney Rate the Confed
Girls Letter to her Brother will
Pay for Sending the Paper if their
is nothing Else in it but I must
Quit so I will Bid you all adue
