Bethany Letter : October 3, 1853

This is a document created by "Bethany" for the "band of Chippewa Indians living on the Pine River." It describes the work that O.G. Dunkel did plowing the Native American's land and the sum he is to be paid for his labor. The document is signed by many members of the tribe, including the chief.
