Georgia Camp in the field June 5th 1864 Dear wife and children we have at last ketched up with Shermans Grand army and So i thought i woould Write you those fiew lines to Let you know that Lewis and myself are boath in the Land of the Living Lewis is Well and i am Getting (Got) Smart again alltho i have not^ quite well since i wrote you from Kingston But i hope this will find you all well and Doing well i seen William Dunnckel Charely Lake.
