Dear Wife and children again i take
Pen in hand to let you know how i
am Getting alon i am Quite Smart now
and still Gaining if i gain as fast
for 4 weeks to com as i have for 2
weeks past i Shall be able to Go if
to my Reg of the Docter hear will
let me go but thay are yousing
me now for a nurse and i Dont
no if thay will Let me Go when i
Do Get well but i hope this will
find you all well and doing well
i have not Got aney Letter from you
yet and am anciously wating for
one Looking Every day O God the
time Seems So Long to weight for
a Letter but i Dont Blame you Write
often and when thay once begin

to come then i Shall Get
one Every fiew Days George
Price has Gon to the Old 14th
Reg i have had a letter from him
Since he went their Enclosed in his
letter was 2 letters from home one
Dated the 1 of June the other the 19
of June that Lewis Sent to me Georg
said Lewis was Sick with the dioree
but he Did not think it woould last
long but i have Written to Lewis 3
letters and Received no aneswer Georges
letter and dated Aug 1st it is the Last
i have heard from them i Dont no
what to think of Lewises Silance perhaps
the mail has Stoped Going Clear
to the frunt if So he cant get aney
letter to me i was Glad Even to Get
them Letters if thay was old it made
my heart Glad i Learned by them
that Mother had been out to howell
i hope She found all well their and
had a Good Visit with them
