	I received your
letter of the 16th last evening
it found me all right &
enjoying myself some the weather
is decidely winterest here now
day after tomorrow we break
camp we are agoing to
Nashville it is about ten days
march.      our 1st Sergt has
been promoted to 2d Lieut he
sits here talking to me as I
am a writing he told me
I had better write to you
as I would not have another

chance in a number of days
he thinks he know full as
much as he does about my
business I dont fell much
like writing to night I hope
you will enjoy the sleighing
while it lasts last evening
I went to the Theeter
had a very good time
