Othniel Gooding Letter : March 27, 1863

Gooding is worried about his chances of surviving the war. Many men around him are sick or are getting killed, as was the case in their most recent skirmish with Confederate Gen. John Morgan's troops. Gooding notes that he is homesick but doing his best to keep a positive outlook.
