May writes to Lottie about the latest gossip in Adrian and she asks Lottie to visit her in Ann Arbor. May discusses giving her photograph to "white head Morey" after a flirtatious encounter, only to find out he was showing her protrait to people around town (in Adrian). She wrote a letter to Morey and asked him to give the photo to their mutual friend Erville, but had not yet heard back from either of them. May comments on a few other men and notes that Aaron is making advances on her, but she is not interested. She advises Lottie to "just enjoy yourself and go all that you can."
