It - has been as cold as in Greenland to – day _ and I have been out to – Church all day _ liked to have frozen my nose off. _ a good deal to freeze wasn't it? – The Rice's, were back to day it sounded so good to have them here again, they are going East now, will be back about Christmas. we dont get a long a bit good with out in the choir Lottie you wrote me a real stingy little letter, - why didn't you write a good big one _ do so next time _ will you? I wish you could have been here Thanksgiving _ we had a very pleasant time _ Callie _ Mr March and Fredie Branson were down Fred and Cal. went back on the early train Friday morning _ March stoped till yesterday in the afternoon train _ They are all coming down again Christmas _ we shall [illegible in original] two young men by the [illegible in original] of February down with them next time _ they are from Maine _ and Callie visited there when he was down _ one of them have been here I went up [crossed out letters] to the College to a social the other night _ did I tell you? had a horrid dull time _ about like the ones they used to have only a little "more so" _ Did you know that Erville [Strong?] was coming to see you, in a little while.
