	     Tuesday morning
Lottie Dearest –
		   Why did you not
answer my letter you naughty
child _ here you have kept us
waiting so long and not one
word _ whether you were home
or not untill last week we heard
you were home_ well Lottie how
does it seem in Adrienn now
since the students are all
gone _ isnt it awful dull _ have
you moved yet? _ Lottie wont you
come and make us a visit this 
summer a good long visit _
I wish Erville would come too
we would have gay times _
but if Erville cant come _ youe
come _ wont you please " when 
you write tell us what day to 
meet you _ day after tomorrow

is the fourth _ how short this
year has been ___ well where are 
you going _ and what are you
going [too?] the fourth _ have you
got your white dress fixed to
wear – I talk of wearing mine _
and then I shall have a few
fine crackers and a torpedo or
stick of candy etc _
   How I wish you were here this
morning I want to see you
so much _ have you seen

soldiers or officers did you become
