Peter Randall was born in 
Vermont about 1837 he came
to Mich and settled in Washte-
naw Co. where his mother died
his father passed away some
years before, Peter and brother
Leonard started out to earn
their living, his brother was
15 yrs. old, Peter was about 2 yrs.
younger. Peter married Mary
Catherine Haynes in 1860 they had 1
child Clara, when she was
3 yrs: old he enlisted in the
army Feb. 26, 1864, he died
Oct. 27, 1864 and was buried
in the government cemetery
he was in Fort Gaines on Dauphin
Island Ala. he was 27 yrs. old
he was born in 1837.
