Dear Mary and little Claire
I arrived Safe in Camp I [Set?]

Once more I feel rather lonesome
more than I ever have before
Since I enlisted otherwise
I feel first rate I have not
got much to wright this
time I think we Shall Stay
until about the middle off next
week we then Shall go to [illegible]
I cannot tell how long we Shall
Stay there but I think we Shall
Stay there about ten days
when we get there probably
we Shall find out more about
it Direct your letter to Cold
Water Michigan a heavy artillery
