Simeon advises Cindonia about what she should do to make up for the crop losses their farm incurred as a result of the drought. At least one soldier has spread a rumor that Simeon draws whiskey rations then sells them to those that drink, but Simeon denies the allegations. He also denies rumors that he consumes his whiskey rations.
