this by your good wife who
has watched at in the bedside,
many days and nights with
indiscribable interest and
solicitude, of your afflicted
son. and now it seems to
be her painful duty to con
vey to you and your whole
family circle, his lifeless
remains. I have sincere
sympahty for all the loved
ones who live to suffer this
terrible bereavement. I have
visited Guy daily and often
twice a day ever since
he has been in the hospital.
He was greatly blessed of
his father God. and you may
rest assured while you 
sustain a loss he has realized infinite

P.S. Since writing the forego
ing I find the time of his
departure is omitted.
He sweetly fell asleep in
Jesus a few minutes before 10 
oClock last night the 27 our
thanksgiving [day?].
He gradually sank in death
He was not only ready and
willing to go, but even anxious 
to depart and be with Christ
which was, to him, far better.
He was an amiable sweet
spirited youth and through
the riches of grace he passed
away most triumphantly.
