fifty five thousand dollars in gold,
   being appropriated by soldiery from
a citizen near Lenmark Tenn. in
1863 _ if so I can give you
a direct clue to one party
implicated therein should you wish
to investigate the matter through
prompt of reward or otherwise, 
please address me at the earliest
