		              I have
the honor to request a leave of absence for
Ten (10) days based upon the following
Grounds.
	I have been on duty as Asst
Supt of this office and have always
tried to perform my duties to the satis-
faction of Yourself and superiors.
	It is now some six months 
since I have been absent from the office
unless it was on business, = and as
I wish to visit [Duvalls?] Bluff very
much I hope
	Captain, this application will
meet with your immediate approval.
