Bro Thomas
	I did not get your note till late last night &
could not reply by the bearer of it. I am afraid I cannot
go to [G.V.?] My head is ringing loudly to day again &
it appears that speaking hurts it. Then we have no girl
when I saw you I thought I wuld have come to-day but
she has not come- These are the [Controlling?] reasons & you
must excuse me- I might mention as cumulative that
I dont like to miss the S School 2 days in succession &
next Sabbath is our regular preaching day - Some time when
I am better & can I will go to [G.V.?] You know I [illegible in original] to
be either then or [illegible in original] or such delightful occasions
Your report on the Academy is nearly all correct
but Bro I think almost any person who would think
a little might see that it was [ER?] who was going
    do
to^  the [illegible in original] you speak of _ I dont know but it might 
be left a little more obscure- I will see you
about it _ Then this report [illegible in original] [E R?] _ if hes'
satisfied we need not care - but the matter
must not get out or there will be a great effort
made from certain quarters to frustrate our plans
