I am very well at present and as to your Son that is Sick here. I am glad to inform your that he is Some better & the doctor thinks he will be all right yet. he does not like the idea of having them broke out on his face for fear they will disfigure it but I dont think they will the rebels have retreated from this place they commenced on last Saturday to retreat we have captured at least ten hundred prisoners since they left. the company is Still in north carolina Scouting . well there is nothing more at present give my respects to all friends.
