		Sir your Son was
much better last Evening. I think
that some over anxious thing
have been frighting him by holding
up the [illegible in original] of the next world
our Chaplain is of that Stamp.
where my men an when I can
See to them I do not allow it when 
they are low. I think no man but
[illegible in original] will approach a person
that is weak and nervous with
a picture of an offended God 
And the horrors of Eternal Damnation
but enough Amos will I think
recover And that Soon, if he is
not frightened to death.
	Now the Dr has just Sent me
word that Amos is getting along finely
