	Join letter of 18th ult. was
Recd. Just as we were about to
leave Suffolk for this place

I take pleasure in replying to your
questions.
    He was buried on a bluff on
edge of swamp- water cannot
over flow his grave. I selected
the spot myself-  it is high & dry.
He was put into a good strong
coffin.
  Rev. Mr. Riddick is a rebel- is non
South. His farm is desolated. 
He is a Methodist. Any one at Suf-
folk could tell you where his farm
is.
	I think the authorities wld. 
permit you to remove the body in
cold weather.
	  As we may move soon again
if you have any further correspondence you 
had better address me at Belinda N. Jersey.
