Time passes pleasantly and I think proffitably, though I have little or no time to study Wm and James are stopping with me. Wm the first night slept on the sofa and the window being wide open we were all well entertained with the mosquitos. I do not think all together we slept an hour all night. William brought out some [illegible in original] that must have resonaded through the entire block [illegible in original] strokes were shirt but powerful. His hands itched with bites and he tried washing them in every known compound in the room. Last night the owner put up a mosquito bar to the bed, and beneath it, we three slept like roses. I went to hear Booth with W & James, Tuesday evening, and alone last evening enabled me to do [illegible in original] Iwas disapointed he made nothing of [illegible in original] several times, but in motion and position he was perfect It wood seem preposterous to criticise Booth, but I think he could be improved upon James has just come in I will close
