Croley, Staff Agronomist, has been transferred, from the Southwestern to the Green Section's Eastern Region Office. M r. Croley is a graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, receiving his degree in Agronomy. While at V.P.I, he assisted in the establishment of the Institute's turf research program. When he first joined the Green Section, he trained under D r. Marvin Ferguson Mid-Continent Director and National Research Co- ordinator for the Green Section. Charles will work out of the Green Section's Highland Park office. While we are very pleased to announce the addition of Croley to the Eastern Region staff, we regret to announce Jim Kollett's decision to resign to accept a golf course superintendent's position in his native Rhode Island.
