Effects of tank-contamination with dicamba and 2,4-D on sugarbeet
"The use of dicamba- and 2,4-D-resistant soybean will lead to increased use of both dicamba and 2,4-D in Michigan cropping systems. In turn, the potential for sensitive crop exposure to these herbicides by tank-contamination will be greater, which is of great concern to sugarbeet growers. Field experiments were conducted at two locations in Michigan in 2016 and 2017 to determine how tank-contamination with dicamba and 2,4-D impacts sugarbeet growth, yield, and quality when applied at multiple growth stages."--From abstract.
