This thesis investigates ways to sustainably reuse and development Olympic venues and Forest Park that were used in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Through surveys and interviews with residents of and visitors to the area, the author learns the reasons why some venues were abandoned after the Olympics and recommends ways to use the venues and improve the area while addressing econommic and environmental issues as well as concerns about social equitability.
