Sometimes also called food molds or pudding molds, these molds were used to form food that would set up and hold its fancy shape when it was turn out of the mold and served. Molds came in different sizes and were made of different materials. The decorative tops of these molds ranged from simple to very elaborate with animals, flowers, and fruits being some of the more common motifs.
