Jingle All The Way:

Yes, the Holiday Season is fast approaching and that means
arrangements are all made for the gala annual Christmas Party
sponsored by the New Jersey Golf Course Superintendents! Associa-
tion. This year our Christmas Party will be held at the SPRING
LAKE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, SERIKG LAKE, H.J. with AL and BETTY
RATHJENS acting as Mr, and hrs, Santa Claus.

No need to elaborate on what a wonderful affair this is for
those of you who have attended in the past, and those of you who
haven't attended should do so this year just to find out what
you‘ve been missing:

The date for this great festive occasion is THURSD Y,
DECEMBER 6, 1956, so be sure to set that evening aside and plan
to attend.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:30 l.M., to
be followed by a delicious beefsteak dinner at 7:30 P.h. Do not
forget, corsages will be supplied for your lady friends by the
Association.

After dinner an orchestra will play for your dancing plea-
sure from 9 P.h. until 1 A,h. And we understand that the girls
from the shore are really planning a number of specialty dances.

The price of all this fun and frolic is $6.00 per person,
so give your wife or lady friend a treat and be at Spring Lake on
December‘oth. Do not forget, your friends are also invited just
as long as you indicate on the enclosed card the number in your
party, Reservations are a necessity -— please have the card to
Al no later than December 3rd.

 

By the way, Spring Lake Golf & Country Club is easy to findc
Just take the Manasquan Exit No. 96 off the Garden State Parkway
and proceed to the traffic circle, 50 three-quarters around the
circle where you will see a Sign pointing to Spring Lake. This
road will take yol right past the golf club entrance,
