I doubt it: But just to refresh your memory, and to make sure that you get out and practice golf with your Pro all weekend, it‘s the Annual Superintendent—Pro Tournament. It is to be held at the Somerset Hills Country Club, Bernardsville, N.J. on Wednesday, October 10. (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF DATE.) Superintendent Hick Florio will again be our host for the day, and yea can be sure from past performances, that nothing will be spared to make this a wonderful affair. Naturally this is the day that golf reigns supreme -- so come early and stay late. There will be trophies for the Superintendent— Iro champions and also trophies for the SuperintendentnChairman champions. Besides your Ere, bring your Greens Chairman or any other club official or member who would care to join you. Dinner will be served at 6:15 P.M. sharp, and for your after dinner entertainment Chairman Alfred Rathjens has arranged an interesting program. The topic will be ”Cooperation From The Viewpoint of A Professional, Manager, Superintendent and Greens Chairman" and will be presented respectiVely by each of the above categories. Supt. Edward Casey efthe Baltusrol Golf Club will represent the Superintendents, hanagor Louis Blaufuss of the Spring Lake Golf & Country Club will represent the managers. The Pro— .L. fessional and Greens Chairman are yet to be chosen. As you know, this affair is one of the highlights of our meetings during the year and from all indications this one should be no different. So let's all turn out in force and make this the best ever.
