SHARE: Join Our Email List Happy Holidays! There’s no doubt that 2020 was a challenging year for the golf industry, but there were also a lot of successes to be proud of. Adjusting to budget concerns, staffing issues, and changing rules and regulations was certainly difficult for many courses in the first half of the year. After that, some of the biggest challenges came with unusually heavy play – a good problem to have! While we’re all excited to turn the page on 2020, it’s nice to know that golf has been a bright spot in many people’s lives this year and that we all helped contribute to that. We want to wish you happy holidays and all the best in the coming year! In Case You Missed It Coming Up Next Year There are serious problems that come with neglecting irrigation and well pumps until a catastrophic failure happens. The good news is that pump failure is usually avoidable, or at least predictable. The December 4, 2020, issue of the USGA Green Section Record provided a detailed guide for pump testing and maintenance that will help you maintain performance and extend the life of your pump system. We’ve got another great year of USGA Green Section Record content on the horizon for 2021. We’re planning to take in-depth looks at everything from triplex mowing, to “blue-muda” fairways, to how big tees should be. We’ve also got great contributions planned from industry experts like Brad Klein. Thanks for reading, watching, discussing, and enjoying our content this year and we’ll see you in 2021!
