Hi, my name is Jason Wilson. I'm a proud Detroiter. My passion and mission is to teach, train and transform boys and young men before this world does. One memory that stands out in my mind is – being a young boy in my neighborhood, always having to go to the park by myself to try to play baseball by yourself and football by yourself without having my father there to catch the ball or to teach me what it means to be a man in my city. Just the loneliness I felt is something that I didn't want boys in my influence to ever experience, and so, that time in my life shaped me and taught me, not to live from my painful past, but give those who are my future or my present, what I've longed for. And so that's my desire, it’s to make sure that they live from their hearts and not their fears. My dream and vision for young men and boys for the future would be that they would no longer be defined or hindered by masculinity. And what I mean by that is, that we've allow society to define our comprehensive nature by one adjective. So to be masculine is great, to be bold, to be strong or assertive. But I want boys to become comprehensive men and men who are courageous but compassionate, strong but sensitive men who aren’t afraid to live from their hearts... and I believe we'll have a better world. Men who are more caring, men who are able to – instead of suppressing those emotions, but to express them and they learn how to rule them, to make them benefit themselves, their families and community.
