The building on the right appears to be in the process of being demolished while the building on the left seems to be occupied. The buildings occupy land that is part of the city's urban renewal plan. Banners on the occupied building express such things as: residents wanting to remain in their apartments; a halt to evictions as long as there is available land elsewhere for the city to use; insistence on transparency in the city's urban planning process; demands to know where residents could find comparable housing at the same price; and a demand for repair/maintence versus demolition.
