Many travelers are led to believe that by taking the morning train on the DSS&A to Champion or Republic that they cn reach Gogebic that same day. This is in error as connection is not made at Iron Mountain with the train to Gogebic.
Vice Presidental Spencer, of the M&N, was in the city yesterday morning in conference with officals of the DSS&A. He returned to Republic in the afternoon.
The DSS&A will on June 3, inaugurate a double daily train service between Houghton and Mackinaw City and in connection with the MC will run Wagner sleeping cars between Houghton and Detroit, Michigan without change.
