No damage done, but casused a delay of 45 minutes to east bound passenger train by blocking track.

Description: Yesterday morning an idividual who was sufficently under the influence of the bowl that inebriates to make him totally regardless of consequences attempted to board a DSS&A passenger trail at the depot, while passengers were getting off. A braekman remonstrated with him, but without effect. Marshall Scully then endeavored to keep the man quiet , but without avial, and he was finally taken off to jail to sober off.

Description: Monday morning Toussaint Sharkey was run over by the cars at St. Ignace and killed. August, as he was called by the railroad men, was a brakeman on the freight train, and when he made his run down from Marquette Saturday his wife accompained him and spent Sunday at the Point. She was returning on the train which killed her husband. It is not known whether his foot slipped or whether he had a fit and thus fell under the wheels, as he was subject to fits.
