St. Paul's Evangelical Church
In 1882, a group of Evangelical Germans formed a congregation named the Evangelical-Lutheran St. Paul's Congregation. They purchased land at the corner of Fulton and Seventh Streets and in 1893, the cornerstone for this church was laid. Services were held in German until World War I. In the 1960s, the congregation built a new church on Griffin Street and this building was sold to Manting Equipment Company.
